How Nuala Can Help

Acupuncture For Menopause Support

In Chinese Medicine, menopause is seen as a “Second Spring” – an opportunity to renew and reinvigorate our lives.

However, it often comes with its own set of challenges, both mental and physical and – for many of us – that sense of bounce or ‘spring’ may feel far away!

Perimenopause, like puberty, is a time of fluctuating hormone levels and these imbalances can play havoc with many of our body’s systems – digestion, sleep, musculoskeletal and nervous system, to name a few, can all suddenly go awry. It is no wonder many women struggle at this time.

A success story

“I Highly recommend Nuala”

I saw Nuala about 6 times for troublesome menopause symptoms as I was experiencing none of the ones I heard about! These less common symptoms were very exhausting and draining but I felt an improvement after the first session. Having not done acupuncture before, I was pleasantly surprised and immediately hooked. I now use Acupuncture for maintenance sessions once in a while. I find that occasionally one needle will be sensitive- but it is a ‘strangely releasing sensation’. Overall the treatment leaves me feeling energised and re-balanced. I highly recommend Nuala.
